Appointed as Hospital Design Consultant by NHM Maharashtra for master-plan and redesign with expansion of all District Hospitals, Sub-District Hospitals, Rural Hospitals, and MCH centres across the state.
How We Supported This Project
A state-wide hospital redesign appointment covering every District Hospital, Sub-District Hospital, Rural Hospital, and MCH centre in Maharashtra. The work required standardised assessment tools and the capacity to process multiple facilities simultaneously while maintaining consistency across the programme.
Master Plan
Master-plan prepared for all DH / SDH / RH facilities across Maharashtra. Standardised design templates developed for each hospital category.
Redesign with Expansion
Existing hospitals surveyed. Redesign and expansion plans prepared to bring each facility to NHM standards.
Design Approval
Designs submitted to NHM Maharashtra for approval. All DH / SDH / RH / MCH facility designs approved.

Yes. We have worked with NHM Maharashtra, MOHFW Madhya Pradesh, Mira-Bhayander Municipal Corporation, Thane Municipal Corporation, and Mumbai Port Trust. We also have experience with PPP projects under Niti Aayog, including BHEL hospital evaluations at 5 locations for KPMG.
Yes. NABH and JCI compliance is built into our design and planning process. We have handled accreditation for 17 projects. If you are preparing an existing facility for NABH, we can assist with gap analysis and documentation.
Yes. Several of our completed projects involved converting existing buildings. These include a hotel converted to a hospital in Nashik, an engineering college converted to a medical college in Durgapur, and a commercial complex converted to a hospital in Thane.
Yes. We have completed projects in Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, and other states. Dr. Kothari has been the appointed Hospital Planner for the Government of Madhya Pradesh since 2016.
